ARGALASTI
Another renowed village, one of the main ones, interesting from an arcitectural point of view. In its buildings you can see traces of medieval even ancient stuctures elements which add something unique to the style and atmosphere of the village. One should not miss the chance of visiting the nearby monastery of Agios Nikolaos, set in a magnificent landscape. It should be noted that in this area have been found ruins of ancient and Byzantine buildings, as well as artefacts of the classical period, something that is found in the traditional houses of the village. An exquisite sample of the architecture of the beginning of the century is the church tower of Ag. Apostolon.
