NEA ANCHIALOS
Nea Anchialos is charming seaside resort of Magnesia prefecture, south of Volos, surrounded by picturesque little hills, regarded mostly as a tourist area. Nea Anchialos is extended to 48 Klm2 and its population over 6000 people. It comprises six other smaller districts all well know for the greenery and their hospitality.
Nea Anchialos beautiful coasts extend to 20 Klm and offer a great variety of beaches of such as the unique reddish sand, golden sand, cliffs and pebbles.
The selection of archaeological findings are of great interest, particularly the sculptures, ceramics and the nine ancient churches with their mosaic floors.
